What Is Apricot Stone Powder?
Apricot stones, sometimes called apricot kernels, are the seed that is in the middle of an apricot. When the centre of the pit is ground down, it creates a coarse powder that is perfect for removing dead skin cells and grime from the skin. Because it contains 50 per cent oil as well as fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals, apricot stone powder thoroughly cleanses the skin without stripping it of the natural oils that keep it soft and supple.
What Nutrients Are in Apricot Stone Powder?
Adding vitamins and minerals to skincare products can help nourish and rejuvenate the skin. Apricot stone powder is rich in several nutrients that are important to your skin's health.
The first is vitamin E. Vitamin E is a moisturiser and it also contains antioxidants. Antioxidants neutralise free radicals, which can cause signs of ageing, wrinkles, spots of melanin, and so on. The powder also contains B vitamins, namely B17. This one is important for its anti-inflammatory effects. Signs of this inflammation are redness, itching, and even swelling or cracking of the skin. Vitamin B17 can help relieve this inflammation and leave your hands feeling more comfortable.
Finally, apricot kernel powder contains essential fatty acids, which provide moisture to the skin without leaving it greasy. This is an important addition to our cleanser, as we know how easy the skin can become dehydrated when the hands are washed frequently.
